The Golden Stair

Put away those sweet little dresses,
That my darling used to wear,
She will never need them on earth now,
She has climbed up the golden stair.
Put away my Angel's new toys now,
She won't need them on earth anymore,
She is playing with Angels and Angel's toys,
She is happy forever more.
I long for her sweet little kisses,
To brush her soft silky hair,
But my darling doesn't need mummy fussing no more,
She has climbed up the golden stair.
